We give thanks to God that in His infinite wisdom, and through His Son Jesus Christ, He has united all His believers worldwide as one family.

Through this unity, we are able to work together and achieve much more. Our Diocese is actively engaged in various social, spiritual, economic, and intellectual services through its departments, including Mission and Evangelism, Gender, Diakonia, Worship and Music, Health, Education, Planning, Finance, and Administration. The Diocese comprises seven districts, a Cathedral Church, and 137 congregations.

This website, in its best form, presents all the work and leadership of our Diocese. We warmly welcome you to explore it.

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.”
(Psalm 133:1)

Yours sincerely,

Bishop Dr. Godson Abel Mollel

Head of the KKKT – Northern Central Diocese

ABOUT US

The Northern Central Diocese of KKKT was established in 1973, initially under the name Arusha Regional Synod. It was led by Pastor Mesiaki Kilevo, the first Synod leader, overseeing a community of 30,000 members, 20 congregations, and 110 sub-parishes.

The second leader of the Synod was the late Bishop Dr. Thomas Olmorijoi Laiser, who served from 1980 to 1986.

In 1986, the Synod was officially renamed the Arusha Regional Diocese, with Bishop Dr. Thomas Olmorijoi Laiser becoming its first Bishop.

Later in 2010, the name was changed again to become the Northern Central Diocese, following the decision by the Third Phase Government of the United Republic of Tanzania to divide the Arusha Region, resulting in the creation of two separate regions: Arusha and Manyara.
